This Privacy Policy describes how On Call Protection ("we", "us") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our Service.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information: name, email, phone number, password.
  • Guard verification data: government ID, security license, insurance certificate, license number and state. Stored encrypted in a private bucket accessible only by the guard and our verification reviewers.
  • Profile data: photo, bio, hourly rate, specialties, vehicle details, height/weight.
  • Location: approximate coordinates for matching guards with nearby clients (only when you grant permission).
  • Payment data: handled by Stripe; we never store full card numbers or bank credentials.
  • Usage data: bookings, reviews, messages, app interactions, device/browser metadata.

2. How we use it

  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Service.
  • Match clients with available guards.
  • Process payments and payouts.
  • Verify guard identities and licenses.
  • Send transactional and safety notifications.
  • Detect fraud, abuse, and policy violations.
  • Comply with legal obligations.

3. Sharing

We share data only as follows:

  • Between matched parties: a confirmed booking shares contact details so the client and guard can coordinate.
  • Service providers: Stripe (payments), Supabase (hosting), our email provider, analytics.
  • Legal: if required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, property, or safety.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of certain processing. Email privacy@oncallprotection.com to exercise these rights.

5. Retention

We retain booking records for 7 years to comply with tax and audit obligations. Verification documents are retained while your account is active and deleted within 90 days of account closure unless legally required to retain them.

6. Security

We use industry-standard safeguards (TLS in transit, row-level security, encrypted storage). No system is perfectly secure; you use the Service at your own risk.

7. Children

The Service is not directed to anyone under 18.

8. Changes

We'll notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification.
